When I finally decided to turn my life around, I signed up for my first HYROX race — just 12 weeks to prepare, and I was significantly overweight.

From workout programs to nutrition, it felt like a mountain of learning stood between me and my goal. Questions like, “How much should I run?”, “What sessions actually build performance?”, “How do I lose weight and train hard at the same time?”

The more I researched, the more overwhelmed I became. Terms like “Macros”, “HIIT”, “Lactate Threshold”, would take me further down a rabbit hole.

Not to mention the fitness world was full of conflicting advice, complicated jargon, and unrealistic expectations set by over marketing. And honestly — it was intimidating.

But here’s the truth: once you understand the fundamentals, it’s not that complicated.

It’s like learning maths — you feel lost until you finally get it, and suddenly it all makes sense.
